Nyuni Mountain Lodge
Nyuni Mountain is a spectacular lodge nestled in a forest of indigenous trees blended with exotic undergrowth and an endless explosion of flowers. The lodge is medium sized and situated on the eastern shores of Lake Mutirikwi (formerly Kyle), Zimbabwe’s Largest inland waterway, beneath the Nyuni Mountains, which are the Masvingo region’s highest. The lodge is situated 34 kilometers from Masvingo CBD and only 8 kilometers off the Mutare road in the Glenlivet Village.
Nyuni Mountain Lodge has 30 rooms of varying styles ranging from those designed for executives, to groups and backpackers. The lodge offers conference facilities for 60 delegates. It has a well stocked bar and an a la carte restaurant that serves both traditional and exotic meals. The lodge has self catering facilities as well as camping with ablutions.
Nyuni Mountain Lodge offers a wide range of outdoor activities, which include mountain climbing, volleyball, hiking, fishing, nature walks, braai facilities, jogging and mini soccer plus guided tours to Great Zimbabwe, Chamavara Caves, Kyle recreational Park and tours to surrounding villages. The lodge is only 20 minutes drive away from the World famous Great Zimbabwe.
